Wow that was fast call back. They have without a cutter for $50. But I see someone posted that they would prefer the one with the cutter. Any thoughts before I purchase one.

Mine has a cutter and honestly, I can't imagine using the sealer without it. I know you can always trim the bag manually, but the cutter makes it so much easier. Still, not sure it's worth $100 (your difference between a new one with a cutter & the reconditioned one without.)

This may sound like a dumb question but...when would you use the cutter? I have a sealer but cant of a time when I needed a cutter.

I use my cutter all the time - to trim off any excess bag, and when I am making multiple bags out of one (seal, then cut, then seal for a new bottom.). It cuts straighter than I do : )
After reading your earlier post, although I love my cutter, not sure if I'd pay $100 more for it. BUT you do have a LOT of cookies to do, and it would be nice to have down the road...

Thank you for the input. I think it might be better to get one. Have to think about it over night.

I have the one with the cutter and call me odd but I don't ever use it. After sealing I just fold the excess bag over.

I looked up info on this and from what I gathered on this forum, it seemed like most people didn't care to have the cutter. I just ordered mine without the cutter but have not used it yet.

Wow I see how much cheaper it is in the US. I will have to find out how much shipping will be some places will not deliver to Canada. Thanks for the heads up on that one.

Lene, where did you buy your sealer? I was reading the original post and you mentioned yours was under $30.
