Clog in PME 00 tip...

I think I have some RI stuck in the very tip of my 00 PME tip. I've tried using a sewing pin to open up the whole but it will not go in far enough. Any advice on how to unclog this tip? I thought I might try soaking it in boiling water to loosen up the RI. Maybe add some baking soda to the water, too.

Never mind. The hot water with baking soda did the trick! YAY! It was actually a tiny piece of hard plastic. I have no idea how it got in there either. Strange.
